With the launch of our custom-built, lab-grade RC dynamometer, we are proud to unveil our Battery Testing Series — the first step in a comprehensive program to evaluate and compare every major power product in RC racing.

Why This Matters:

Battery performance is the heart of any electric RC car. Labels and brand claims often vary widely, but until now, the RC community has had limited access to transparent, unbiased, and scientifically measured performance data.

We aim to change that.

Our Equipment:

Our dynamometer is a unique hybrid of:

• Inertia Load Measurement – simulating real vehicle acceleration
• Eddy Current Absorber – reproducing load from drag, downforce, and friction
• Direct Load Cell Torque Sensor – capturing true torque, not estimated values

This combination allows us to simulate the exact loads seen on an actual track while recording the real-time power, voltage sag, amp draw, temperature, and energy delivery.

What We’re Testing:

Each battery undergoes the same testing protocol based on standards from organizations like the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers).
We measure:

• Labeled capacity vs. actual delivered capacity (mAh)
• Peak watt output and sustained power
• Power-to-weight ratio (Watts per kg)
• Efficiency under load
• Discharge curve & temperature behavior
